The Public Agency Coalition Enterprise (PACE) was established in January 2012.  PACE was formed as a medical purchasing program to help public agencies maintain stability and leverage in the marketplace while providing comprehensive medical plan options to their employees. With defined underwriting guidelines PACE is different than traditional purchasing pools by eliminating the “come-one, come-all” philosophy that can have a direct impact on adverse selection. 

 

Each member agency has an active role in the governance of the organization and policy making.  When you join PACE, you will have an active role in decisions that affect the employee benefit programs available within PACE.
